INFINI7Y is a handwoven piece I created to honour the sacred geometry and spiritual energy of the number 7. It’s a number that keeps showing up in nature, in the cosmos, in our daily lives, and for me, it holds deep meaning around cycles, balance, and renewal.
I was drawn to the idea that 7 represents completeness. The 7 days of creation. The union of the spiritual (3) and the material (4). The 7 classical planets. The 7 notes in a musical scale. It’s a prime number - unique, indivisible.
With this piece, I wanted to reflect those infinite connections between the physical and the spiritual. The long, cascading fringes at the bottom of the 7th eye continue "infinitely".
