Channel was first exhibited for the 'Parallel Portals : Sacred Geometry' group exhibition curated by Greenhouse Theatre in Toronto. The exhibition was an interdisciplinary exploration of Sacred Geometry by IBPOC artists.

For this work, I drew inspiration from the weaving cosmology of the Philippines, where the warp symbolizes the divine or celestial realm, and the weft represents the earthly and material. Through self-study, I learned that this traditional Filipino 'kusikus' pattern is in fact rooted in sacred geometry, specifically the golden ratio—a pattern found throughout nature.

Each kusikus "eye" in the design is meticulously created using this ratio (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13...) embodying a universal order that connects the divine, the natural world, and ancestral heritage.

Through Channel, the spiritual, the natural, and the tangible converge.
