Double Weave
Tier 1
- Weave a one-of-one small tapestry, approximately 5" x 20"
- Materials: 100% cotton, 2 colours of your choice (subject to availability)

One-on-one guided instruction on a floor loom
• Weaving draft
• Basics of weaving
• Double weave or warp-faced weave structure

Workshop Prices
Pricing for the various workshops are listed above. All workshops include weaving materials.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book. For Weaving Only workshops, the remaining balance will be required 5 days prior to the workshop date.
After filling out the form, you will be contacted with further instructions to reserve your preferred date and spot. E-transfer or cash is preferred. A $50 discount is offered for cash payments.

Full Transparency
Workshop price goes towards preparing the floor loom for each workshop, materials and the facilitator's time. Preparing the loom can take 6 to 12 hours to setup each one-of-one project. You’ll be taught by a weaver with a weaving lineage rooted in Bangar, La Union, Philippines. Learning and immersing yourself in this treasured traditional craft from any weaver is an investment and remarkable opportunity. Please kindly pay your weavers wherever you go. Or try it out and it will all make sense :)
To give back to local communities, Carol Ann has begun offering free weaving workshops in La Union. Since 2024, she has facilitated three kusikus workshops and plans to continue providing this offering each time she returns. When it is sustainable, a portion of the workshop fees will also go back into supporting weavers in the Ilocos Region as well as La Union artist collectives.
